Sauer
In 1941 French founder Jules Sauer fled Europe during WW2; his passion for precious stones and gemology led him to uncovering the largest ever found Aquamarine stone in 1954. In 1956 the first Sauer store opened nestled alongside the iconic Copacabana Palace, the epicenter of glamor at the time.
Today, Sauer is woman-led brand, in 2013 creative director Stephanie Wenk took the reins as creative director to help move the brand into the 21st century. Inspiration stemming from constellations, esoteric dimensions, bibliographic references as well as architectural and scientific studies.
