Lauren Manoogian
Knitwear designer Lauren Manoogian launched her eponymous label in 2008 as a series of wearable experiments using repurposed materials and leather. Manoogian employs a hands on process, knitting each idea in her Brooklyn studio the same way an artist would sketch out their initial drawings. She then collaborates with Peruvian knitters who utilize natural materials grown and milled in Peru to help turn her ideas into fashion.
